Il regista intreccia le gesta di uno dei suoi pionieri, il Ragno di Lecco Casimiro Ferrari, con quella del giovane Matteo della Bordella, che ne rivive le imprese in stile ultra moderno.
Estetica e drammaticità degli eventi restano inalterati nel tempo.

This is the soundtrack of the film "The Patagonia Spider" by Fulvio Mariani, starring mountaineers Casimiro Ferrari and Matteo Della Bordella, two protagonists of the history of Patagonian mountaineering.

A brief synopsis of the documentary:
Patagonian mountaineering has proven to be both difficult and dangerous because of the remoteness from any support and the weather instability. The director, armed with firsthand experience, interweaves the exploits of the 'Lecco Spider' Casimiro Ferrari, a pioneer of Patagonian mountaineering, with those of young mountaineer Matteo della Bordella, who retraces Ferrari’s steps in ultra-modern style.
The aesthetics and dramatic nature of the events remain unchanged.
